This Privacy Policy describes how Nice CV - Resume Maker AI ("we," "our," "the App") handles your information.

1. Data We Collect

Information you provide:

• Resume/CV content you enter (name, work history, education, skills, photos, etc.)
• Content you scan via the camera for AI-assisted resume text recognition

Automatically collected:

• Device information and app usage via Firebase Analytics
• Anonymous usage statistics to improve the App

Third-party AI processing:

When you use an AI-powered feature, the App sends the relevant data below to Google LLC, via the Gemini API (Firebase AI Logic), for processing. We ask for your permission before any of this data is sent for the first time, and you can decline. Data is used solely to generate the requested content and is not used by us to train any AI model.

• CV import ("Scan CV"): photos or files of your resume, including your name, contact details, work history, and education, so the AI can extract this information into the App.
• Summary improvement: the professional summary text you write, so the AI can suggest improved wording.
• AI Photo Studio: your portrait photo, so the AI can generate an enhanced version of it.

Google acts as our data processor for these features and is contractually and technically required to protect this data to a standard equivalent to our own; see Google's Privacy Policy for details on how Google handles this data.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To generate, format, and export your resume/CV
• To provide AI-powered writing suggestions and content generation
• To improve app stability and performance (analytics)
• To manage app configuration and feature availability (Firebase Remote Config)

3. Data Storage

• Your resume content and images are stored locally on your device.
• We do not operate our own backend server or database.
• Data sent to third-party AI services is processed per their privacy policy and is not permanently linked to your identity by us.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, which may collect data as described in their own privacy policies:

• Firebase (Google) — Analytics, Remote Config
• Gemini API / Firebase AI Logic (Google LLC) — receives your CV documents/photos, professional summary text, and portrait photos, only when you use the corresponding AI feature and only after you grant permission in the App, to generate the requested content. See section 1 for details on what is sent for each feature.

5. In-App Purchases / Subscriptions

Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple via the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.

6. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your data by uninstalling the App (removes local data) or contacting us at nice.cv.support@gmail.com. If you are in the EU/UK, you have rights under GDPR including access, correction, and deletion of your data.

7. Children's Privacy

This App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated "Last updated" date.
